Greenville Christmas Party, Saturday December 6.

 

Potluck at noon, followed by bridge at 1pm.  The bridge game is free (still awarding the usual masterpoints) and all are welcome.

 

 

Silver Points, Silver Points. STaC games in December.

 

The week of December 15-21 is STaC week. This means silver point games all week long - Monday, Tuesday (playing 24 boards, not the usual 21), Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday (team game)!

 

FYI: STaC (Sectional Tournament at Clubs) games are multi-site competitions. Directors of participating clubs send in their results for a particular time and top scores among all clubs get overall awards (this can be based on 500+ tables). For really good scores, there is the potential to get 10+ silver points! What you see immediately following the game are sectional (not overall) awards. These points can be increased if you do well enough compared to other clubs and place overall (which is determined a day or two later).

 

 

Reminder of start times:

  • Monday afternoon at 1:15pm

  • Tuesday evening at 6:30pm

  • Wednesday morning at 9am

  • Wednesday afternoon at 1:15pm

  • Saturday afternoon at 1pm

  • Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm when there is a game

 

New TIME and New SESSION for the Monday Game!

 

    As of Monday, March 10, we have weekly side-by-side sanctioned bridge games starting at 1:15pm.  One game will be a beginner game, restricted to 199 masterpoints and under.  The other game will be a stratified open game.  Beginners are welcome in the open game.

 

 

Current Status of and MAP to the new Senior Center!

 

    All duplicate bridge games in Greenville have been moved to the new Senior Center.  This includes the Monday afternoon, Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, Saturday afternoon, and the occasional Sunday afternoon games.  We will have the entire multipurpose room available to us on each of these occasions.  Given we are being given such a large playing area, let's try and fill it up!  See you at the tables.
